see beauty

see beauty/see beauty/see beauty

All I can do is chant to myself that I need to keep trying to see the beauty in the world because sometimes I fear the sadness will overwhelm and envelop me and I may never see the light again.

see beauty.

see beauty.

see beauty.

  1. Hey you.

    You are not alone.

Lots of love coming your way from a kitchen table outside of Chicago.

  2. You must have been in my yoga class this week, because this is exactly what my teacher talked about: looking at our broken, chaotic, frustrating world with eyes that are capable of seeing everything as beautiful. If only it were so simple.

  3. Hugs.

Have a look in a mirror...you'll see something so beautiful there that it might just take your breath away.

  4. I like this chant. There are so many beautiful things in our lives, we have to keep reminding ourselves of this.

    Hugs to you, sweetie.

  5. Love this chant. And I think it works, because even in all the sadness, there is beauty. It still may all make you cry, but still, you get the sense that the sadness is inevitably bound up with the beauty, and that makes it easier to take the next breath. xxxh

I hope you can keep seeing the light your little angel is trying to show you.

  7. Stopping in from ICLW.

I can totally agree with you on this post. It's hard to see the beauty in the world sometimes and this chant is a perfect way to sort of snap yourself back.

  8. Oh Suzy, you aren't alone and it does get better. A dear friend of mine lost a son 16 years ago and the pain does get better and it isn't so ever present. I am sorry you are feeling such pain right now. {{{Hugs}}}

  10. Hang in there, it is a moment and it will pass. Things will get better.
Depression is a mean spirited *bad word here*.

  13. Girl, I tell myself that everyday. Have you read the book Bouncing Back? I read it a couple weeks after losing Josey. It's not a BLM book, but I found it very inspirational and helpful. It's not all dark and depressing, but rather uplifting. I wrote about it on my first blog (http://journeytojosey.blogspot.com/2010/04/bouncing-back.html).

You can order the book from Amazon - (http://www.amazon.com/Bounce-Back-Book-Adversity-Setbacks/dp/B001RTS99W/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1272027186&sr=8-2).

    I highly recommend it.

  14. Hi Suzy, thanks for coming by my blog and reading my story. I hope that someone in your life does something beautiful for you. (I find that when things get dark I can only see what's right in front of me.)
